Dr. Anh Tran
received his medical degree from the prestigious
Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia
in 1991, with high honors. He went on to pursue
the Specialty in general Anesthesiology at the
Medical School Campus, the University of
Pittsburgh. Furthermore, Dr. Andy Anh Tran
continued on to do his residency in Pediatric
Anesthesiology at the Children’s Hospital of
Pittsburg. Dr. Tran is a Board Certified
Anesthesiologist. Achieving a Board Certification is
the highest achieve in the medical specialty. In
addition, Dr. Tran is a Board Certified Physician
Acupuncturist, but he does not practice this. Dr.
Tran informed that Acupuncture is a hobby and he may
practice this when he retires from Anesthesiology,
which he loves.

Dr. Andy Tran founded Olympic Anesthesia, P.C, in
1996. With this company, Dr. Tran is able to
provide safe and quality Intravenous Sedation and to
service for fearful dental population. Dr. Tran
expresses a great gratification when he is able to
ease his patients for dental pain and fear through
I.V. Sedation Dentistry. Due to the high demands
for Dr. Tran’s services, he has to decline many
great offers to working at several areas’
hospitals. He has devoted much of his life to
making a positive change in the lives of other with
I.V. Sedation Dentistry, especially in the lives of
his patients: young children, special needs
patients, the elderly, and the intensely fearful
patients. He is here is make every dental visit
as painless and carefree as possible to as many
patients and dentists as he can. Patients often
admired Dr. Tran for his calming and compassionate
manners. In fact, he has provided up to 7,000
patients in the dental IV Sedation including
mentally challenged children and adults. Dr. Tran
is the areas leader in IV Sedation for dental
